Long time no see, audpodge!
Real Life and Real Writing and Real Feelings have once again conspired against me, but look out – I’m coming back. In blog form.

5 years?! Where has the time gone?
My uploaded photos on this blog are a time capsule that I never get tired of looking through. So here’s well over a 100 pics from the past 5 years of Audpodge.
Enjoy! Continue reading “5 Years of Audstralia – in pictures”
Oh, 35.
Blame it on all the rom-com’s I watched growing up, but I never wanted to turn 30. And 35 and 37 are my ‘scary’ ages – like, it’s the first step of really getting older. Continue reading “Birthday 35”
Earlier this year, my book club (yes, I am in a book club, very sophisticated) nominated Pachinko by Min Jin Lee as our next book. Continue reading “An Evening with Min Jin Lee”
Yep – that about sums up July.
I feel like I’ve been on the verge of depression and funk, but also… not? Like I have one foot in the mire and the other foot is trying to climb up the mountain. Continue reading “Inspired and Tired”
I know I just blogged about writing success, but strap in because I’M DOING IT AGAIN.

We finally made it to the Powerhouse Museum for the Star Wars Identities exhibit! I’m pretty sure it’s been open for the last 6 months. And every week for the last 6 months we’ve been like, “Oh hey let’s see Star Wars!” and every weekend passed without us going. Until this weekend, which coincidentally was its final weekend. Nothing thrills us like a deadline, so on Sunday we booked tickets and headed out. Continue reading “Star Wars: Identities”
Me: I just read a meme that said “you’re actually 9 months old when you’re born.” What the heck
Joel: what? Continue reading “Deep thoughts”
When I first moved to Sydney, I temped as an admin assistant at a construction/engineer firm on the top floor of a swanky office building. It was the absolute last place I imagined myself working, they offered me a six month contract and that’s all I cared about. And, much to my surprise, I met some great people there and actually enjoyed going to work (work was basically compiling safety reports and keeping my chair warm, so even though I was pretty restless, it was pretty cush).
